Actor Neil Nitin Mukesh is currently busy promoting his first series ‘Junoon’. Neil Nitin Mukesh, who is active in the Hindi film industry, has spent almost two decades. Apart from success in these years, he has also seen bad days. He said in an interview that the environment of Bollywood has become very toxic these days. People are very disappointed.
In an interview, Neil Nitin Mukesh said, “When a film does not perform well at the box office on Friday, people celebrate. Nowadays people are happy to see others fail. When you are in such an environment, there is no other way but to keep moving forward and believe in yourself. If you keep trying, you will not regret it.”
Responding to the question of how the environment is toxic, Neil said, “This is what is happening and the situation has reached a level where everything seems toxic. I have seen this many times and I see it even today. For me, this industry is like a family. At least I used to think so. If we are working with someone, aren’t we part of the same group? Isn’t it our duty to appreciate each other’s work? But now you don’t get calls to appreciate your work. Just someone close to you calls, but no one will praise you in front of you.”
Neil is the son of singer Nitin Mukesh and grandson of legendary singer Mukesh. Neil worked as a child artist in the film ‘Vijay’ with Rajesh Khanna and Anil Kapoor. He was also seen in the film ‘Jaisi Karni Waisi Bharni’ starring Govinda and Kader Khan in the year 1989.
Talking about work, the web series ‘Hai Junoon’ is being directed by Abhishek Sharma. Apart from Neil Nitin Mukesh, Jacqueline Fernandez is also in this web series. It will premiere on Jio Hotstar from May 16.
