Lucknow, May 06: Uttar Pradesh Director General of Police Prashant Kumar said that on the instructions of the Home Ministry of the Government of India, a mock drill will be held in Uttar Pradesh on May 7. Civil Defense will conduct the mock drill. Three categories have been created at the district level regarding the time of the mock drill. Decisions like time and place will be taken at the district level. The district administration and police administration will establish proper coordination with the common citizens there. They will share information about protection from situations like air strikes, drone attacks and missile attacks with the common citizens.
It is worth mentioning that in view of the escalating tension between India and Pakistan after the terrorist attack in Pahalgam in Jammu and Kashmir, the Home Ministry, Government of India has given instructions to conduct mock drills in many states of the country on May 7. In this connection, preparations for mock drill are also being made within Uttar Pradesh. Director General of Police Prashant Kumar spoke to journalists in this regard and gave information about mock drill and blackout.
