Sambhal, January 10: A drive was launched against power thieves on Saturday morning in Gunnaur tehsil area of ​​Sambhal district of Uttar Pradesh. During this, 43 people were caught for electricity theft. Electricity theft was also detected in a mosque.

JE Sunil Kumar of Barabrala section said that a joint team of administration raided Dhanari village of Gunnaur tehsil area of ​​Sambhal at 5 am when the electricity thieves were sleeping comfortably under blankets. Panic erupted in the area during the raid.

JE said that electricity theft was also detected in a mosque of the village. In Dundhabagh village also an illegal tube well was running without electricity connection. 43 consumers were caught for electricity theft. Theft was also found in a mosque. In Dundhabagh also a tube well was running illegally. A report will be filed against all the people by this evening.
