4 wanted gangsters from Bihar gunned down in Delhi: Delhi Police

New Delhi, October 23: A joint team of Delhi Police and Bihar Police killed four criminals from Bihar in an encounter late Wednesday night in Rohini, Delhi. The encounter took place on Bahadur Shah Marg in Rohini, from Dr. Ambedkar Chowk to Pansali Chowk, informed police.

According to Joint Commissioner of Police (Crime) Surendra Kumar, the four criminals have been identified as Ranjan Pathak (25), resident of Malhai police station, Sursand district, Sitamarhi, Bihar; Vimlesh Mahato alias Vimlesh Sahni (25), resident of Ratanpur police station, Bajpatti district, Sitamarhi; Manish Pathak (33), resident of Malhai police station, Sursand district, Sitamarhi; and Aman Thakur (21), resident of Sherpur Karawal Nagar, Delhi. The criminals had committed five major crimes in the Sitamarhi area of โ€‹โ€‹Bihar in the past three months. These criminals were involved in contract killings.

Ranjan Pathak was accused in several serious cases, including murder, extortion, and robbery, and ran a gang known as Sigma & Company. This gang carried out five high-profile murders in Sitamarhi and surrounding areas of Bihar. The Bihar Police has placed a reward of 25,000 rupees on Ranjan Pathak.
