Pratapgarh, September 25: In Aspur Devsara police station area of โโPratapgarh district of Uttar Pradesh, police recovered 501.01 grams of banned MD (methamphetamine drug) and arrested two accused and sent them to jail. The international value of drug is around 50 million.
The Superintendent of Police Deepak Bukhar said on Thursday that under the able supervision of Additional Superintendent of Police East Shailendra Lal and Circle Officer Patti Manoj Kumar Singh Raghuvanshi, effective action was taken by Police Station Incharge Aspur Devsara Vijendra Singh against those involved in illegal drug smuggling.
Ashish son of Laxmikant resident of Gajaria police station Patti and Shivam son of Rakesh resident of Birmau police station Kandhai district Pratapgarh were arrested near Vijhla canal culvert under Aspur Devsara police station area with a total of 501.01 grams of MD (methamphetamine drug) and one motorcycle Passion Pro.
When asked about the recovered drugs, both the accused said that they were going to sell the drugs on this motorcycle. MD. We earn our living by selling drugs. When asked about the recovered motorcycle, accused Ashish Mishra said that this motorcycle is in his father’s name, which they use to sell the drugs.
The Superintendent of Police has announced a reward of twenty-five thousand rupees for the police team that made the recovery and arrest.
