Agra, 26 October: One of the two people arrested on the charge of planning a terrorist attack on Diwali festival is a resident of Etah in Uttar Pradesh. It is alleged that both were in contact with ISIS handler Abu Ibrahim Al-Quraishi present in Syria, told Delhi police.
Actually, recently Delhi Police Special Cell had arrested two suspected youths associated with ISIS involved in terrorist activities. These people were planning to carry out a terrorist attack during Diwali festival. One of them was from Delhi and the other was from Bhopal.
As per the Delhi police, 19-year-old terrorist Adnan nabbed from South Delhi is a resident of Kidwai Nagar locality of Etah district in Uttar Pradesh. It is alleged that both were in contact with ISIS handler Abu Ibrahim Al-Quraishi present in Syria.
Police informed that Adnan lived in Etah until 2022, completing his secondary education. After his father, Salim, reportedly a driver for a major media house, was transferred to Delhi, Adnan moved to Delhi with his mother, Anjum, in 2022. Adnan is reportedly pursuing a diploma in computer data entry in Delhi. Until 2022, Adnan lived in his house, “Anjum Villa,” in Kidwai Nagar, located in the Kotwali Nagar area of โโEtah. Currently, Adnan’s house in Etah is locked.
Mohammad Adnan, his neighbor in Kidwai Nagar, Etah, stated that Adnan mostly left Etah for studies and prayers. He stayed home most of the time and played games on his mobile phone during his free time. He was good at studies, but it’s unknown how he became involved in such activities.
