11 IPS officers reshuffled in UP, Jogendra Kumar new Prayagraj Police Commissioner

Lucknow, May 11: The government has transferred 11 IPS officers while reshuffling the police department on Sunday. In this, Prayagraj Police Commissioner Tarun Gaba has been given the responsibility of Inspector General of Police in Lucknow region.

Apart from these, Lucknow PAC Inspector General Ashutosh Kumar has been sent to the post of Additional Police Commissioner Kanpur, Upendra Kumar Agarwal has been sent to the post of PAC Inspector General.

Inspector General of Police Jogendra Kumar posted in Kanpur has been made Police Commissioner Prayagraj. Harish Chandra, Additional Police Commissioner Kanpur Commissionerate has been made Deputy Inspector General of Police Kanpur, Sanjeev Tyagi has been sent to Lucknow from Additional Police Commissioner Agra (Commissionerate) by giving him the responsibility of Deputy Inspector General of Police Prison Administration and Reforms.

Pradeep Gupta has been made Prison Administration and Reforms Lucknow from Deputy Inspector General of Police Telecommunication Lucknow. Hemant Kutiyal has been made Deputy Inspector General of Police, SSF Lucknow, Ram Badan Singh has been removed from the post of Deputy Inspector General of Police/Deputy Commissioner of Police, Gautam Buddha Nagar and made Additional Commissioner of Police, Agra.

Ramesh Prasad Gupta has been removed from the post of Superintendent of Police, Logistics, Lucknow and made Commandant of the 24th Battalion PAC, Moradabad and Amit Kumar II has been sent to the post of Commandant of the 35th Battalion PAC, Lucknow.
