New Delhi, May 11: The decision of ceasefire has been taken on the initiative of Pakistan but ‘Operation Sindoor’ of armed forces will continue. Talks will be held between the DGMOs of both the countries at 12:00 pm on May 12 to decide the future strategy. To stop ceasefire violations, India has sent another hotline message to DGMO this morning. If these are repeated tonight or later, we will respond to them strictly. The Army Chief has given full authority to our Army Commander to retaliate in case of any violation by Pakistan.

The decision to ceasefire may have been taken, but the Indian forces have achieved many important achievements during the armed forces’ ‘Operation Sindoor’. 100 terrorists have been killed in this operation, including three major terrorists. About 40 Pakistani soldiers were killed in shelling on the LoC. The Indian Air Force attacked and destroyed many airbases and army establishments of Pakistan. In the retaliatory action of the Indian Army, 35 to 40 officers and soldiers of the Pakistani Army have died. No airbase of the Indian Air Force has been damaged in the attack by Pakistan, while the air defense system of the Indian Air Force foiled all the attacks of Pakistan. The Air Force destroyed 3 air defense systems of Pakistan and destroyed the runway of two airbases.

The Director General of Military Operations (DGMO) of the three armies gave information about the achievements of the Indian Armed Forces’ ‘Operation Sindoor’ on Sunday. Army DGMO Rajiv Ghai said that Operation Sindoor was launched with a clear military objective of punishing the conspirators of terror and destroying their terrorist infrastructure after the killing of 26 innocent people on April 22 in Pahalgam.

He said that Pakistan violated the Line of Control and fired on civilian populated villages and religious places like Gurudwaras, which resulted in the tragic death of many people in our civilian areas.

DGMO Ghai said that in Operation ‘Sindoor’, the Army has responded to the Pahalgam terror attack by destroying terrorists and their infrastructure in Pakistan and PoK. The Indian Air Force played a role in attacking the terrorist camps and the Indian Navy provided resources in terms of precision weapons. The Indian Air Force destroyed all the 9 identified terrorist hideouts by targeting them accurately. 100 terrorists have been killed in this operation, including Yusuf Azhar, Abdul Malik Rauf and Mudasir Ahmed, who were involved in the hijacking of IC-814 and the Pulwama blast.

DGMO Lieutenant General Rajiv Ghai said that on the night of May 9-10, Pakistan flew drones and aircraft in our airspace across the borders and made massive attempts to target several military infrastructure, but the Indian Air Force’s air defense system foiled all the attacks of Pakistan.

He informed that the Pakistani army has reported that about 35 to 40 people have been killed in artillery and small arms firing on the Line of Control between May 7 and 10. We also took some measures like deployment of air defense and electronic warfare assets to establish an integrated grid with the Indian Air Force.

DGMO Lieutenant General Rajiv Ghai informed that we also made deployments to include the movement of our forces in land, sea and air areas. The night of May 9-10 saw intrusion of drones and aircraft and this time an attempt was made to target airfields and some very important logistics installations, but the integrated Indian Air Force and Indian Army air defense system efficiently foiled it.

Air Marshal AK Bharti said that since 22:30 on the night of 8th and 9th, there was a massive attack of drones, unmanned aerial vehicles on our cities, which started from Srinagar and went up to Nalia, but we were ready. Our air defense preparations ensured that no damage was caused to any of the enemy targets. In response, we once again targeted military installations, surveillance radar sites in Lahore and Gujranwala.

He apprised that despite this, drone attacks continued till morning, to which we responded. These drone attacks were being carried out from somewhere near Lahore. Meanwhile, the enemy had also allowed its civilian aircraft to fly from Lahore, so we had to exercise extreme caution in carrying out air strikes. Air Marshal Bharti showed a detailed video of the missile impact on Muridke and Bahawalpur terrorist camps.
