The Aamir Khan Productions has cast 10 new faces in the ‘Sitaare Zameen Par’. These debutant actors are Aarush Dutta, Gopi Krishna Verma, Sanvit Desai, Vedant Sharma, Ayush Bhansali, Ashish Pendse, Rishi Shahani, Rishabh Jain, Naman Mishra and Simran Mangeshkar. The film is directed by RS Prasanna.
The film ‘Sitaare Zameen Par’ trailer was released recently in which Aamir Khan is seen in the role of a basketball coach. In the film, he will be seen teaching and encouraging disabled children. After watching the trailer, many netizens believe that this film reminds them of ‘Taare Zameen Par’. Some people also speculate that ‘Sitare Zameen Par’ is actually a Hindi remake of a Hollywood film.
After the trailer of the Hollywood film remake ‘Sitaare Zameen Par’ came out, many viewers felt that it was based on a true incident, but in reality it is not so. This film is an official remake of the Spanish film ‘Champion’. Interestingly, a Hollywood film was also released in 2013 in the name of ‘Champion’. Watching the trailer of ‘Champion’ clearly shows that ‘Sitare Zameen Par’ is presenting the same story in the Indian context.
It is worth mentioning that even before this, Aamir Khan had made the Hindi remake of the Hollywood film ‘Forest Gump’, ‘Lal Singh Chadha’.
Release date of ‘Sitaare Zameen Par’ Aamir Khan and Genelia Deshmukh will be seen in the lead roles in the film ‘Sitare Zameen Par’. The music of the film has been composed by Shankar-Ehsaan-Loy, while its songs have been written by Amitabh Bhattacharya.
This film has been produced by Aamir Khan, Aparna Purohit and Ravi Bhagchandka together. ‘Sitaare Zameen Par’ will be released in theaters on June 20.
