Basti/Lucknow, 9 September: Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath said what should be the education of India, after five years of independence, when the then governments could not make efforts in this direction, then Nanaji promoted this effort from Gorakhpur. The purpose behind it was that it is necessary to establish such educational institutions imbued with India, Indianness, tradition, culture and motherly feeling, which can contribute in establishing the country as ‘Vishwa Guru’ (global leader) again. It starts from the temples of education itself.
Yogi stated that educational institutions are not just a medium of literacy, but are the foundation stone of the all-round development of the child. If education is not able to inculcate values, ideals, dedication towards motherland, great men, nationalism, then it is bad education and deviation. Immediately after independence, its solution started with Saraswati Shishu Mandir.
Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath also performed “Bhoomi Pujan”, foundation stone laying, plantation of saplings and book release of Saraswati Vidya Mandir Senior Secondary School Basahawa on Tuesday. The first branch of Saraswati Shishu Mandir was established in Gorakhpur under the leadership of the then the RSS pracharak Nanaji Deshmukh. Gorakh Pradesh has the privilege of being the motherland of Vidya Bharati Akhil Bharatiya Shikshan Sansthan. The country and the world understand the power of the campaign of nation building with which thousands of teaching-training institutes run under Vidya Bharati are associated.
Chief Minister Yogi said that the government prepares the curriculum whether the government cooperates or not sans the help of the government, Saraswati Shishu Mandir took this program forward on its own strength and with the help of volunteers through citizens who have a love for Indianness when the first Saraswati Shishu Mandir was established in Pakki Bagh, Gorakhpur, there were only five students at that time.
“Today, Shishu Mandir has 12 thousand schools. This institution is honestly discharging its national responsibility to make children aware of their duties as citizens towards India and Indianness and to make them capable citizens. Students coming out of Saraswati Shishu Mandir are also providing leadership and guidance to the society”, said Yogi.
Chief Minister said that the heritage has to be respected. Our ancestors (Shyama Prasad Mukherjee in 1953) had taken a pledge that two constitutions, two flags, two heads will not work in one country. They had given a call to implement the law of the rest of India in Jammu Kashmir. They also had to make sacrifices. In 1952, the Congress implemented Article 370 forcibly despite Baba Saheb’s unwillingness, but PM Modi made Dr Mukherjee’s pledge a reality and linked Kashmir with the law of India by ending terrorism and anti-India activities and conspiracies.
Yogi further said that the wait of 500 years ended and Ram Lalla temple was built in Ayodhya. The opposition parties wanted that this should not happen.
He said that Lord Shri Ram is a symbol of ideals and Indianness. When Maharishi Valmiki asked Narad ji that I want to write something, what is that ideal. Then he said that there is only one character on this earth, you write on Shri Ram. We feel proud of the tradition of Maharishi Valmiki, Lord Ram, Shri Krishna. The great men who sacrificed their lives for India and Indianness while protecting the borders of independent India are our role models. It is the duty of every Indian to respect them and preserve their heritage.
Chief Minister said that AI is a lesson to increase vigilance and caution. He also talked about tampering with photos, blackmailing, cyber fraud, digital arrest. He also enumerated the security steps taken by the government in this regard.
He said that technology should be used only to the extent that it is useful for us. If you are spending four to six hours on social media platforms, then you are deceiving your labour and body as well. Your eyes will also start failing prematurely. The
CM also discussed the usefulness of chatbots and GPT. The CM also discussed its proper use and misuse and said that there should be no dependence on it, because if you do not prepare yourself, it will not be effective in competitive exams. Therefore, information is necessary. We should not let mountains stand in our life, but we should make it simple.
